My name is Izzy Hinckley and I am a junior at Bucknell University. I reside in Richmond, Virginia with my family and animals. My awesome smart beautiful and diligent older sister, Story, lives in Boston and works as a journalist for the Christian Science Monitor. Needless to say, she’s killin’ it in the real world. My mom is the most hardworking woman I know. She is an extremely talented artist who recently returned to school in order to receive a degree in teaching art to children. I have two palomino horses—some say they actually look like me—named Looker and Friday. My dog Tess and cat Polly Pocket spend their days lying in the warm sun patches that beam through the windows of my cozy home.
I ran Track and Field at Bucknell freshman and sophomore year, but decided to quit (or as I like to say, “retire”) during the last spring season. I’m a double major in Art History and English with a focus in creative writing. Furthermore, I am an Arts Merit Scholar in Art History and have really enjoyed being a part of the program the last two years. Next semester, I plan on going abroad to London in hopes of furthering my art historical and creative writing knowledge.
